Word for the Month...JULY 2009

"But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken;and immediately all the doors were opened and everyones chains were loosed." [nkjv]

Paul and Silas had suffered unjust Imprisonment, accusation, flogging, and degradatin in the most foul of environments. The conditions of prisons at that time were hardly on a par with the 'Hilton Hotels' of today ...!!!

How do we feel when we are abused in some way for our witness as Christians ??? are we prepared to Glorify God by priasing Him in the midst of our tribulations...??? or do we join in with the rest of mankind in complining and griping about our misfortune ...

Let us emulate Paul and Silas and see what GOD will do...!!!!
