What do we learn from this Scripture ? How do we apply it to our lives? In Horticulture we find that a seed needs to germinate in good soil, with the right conditions for growth. This is known as cultivation...regular watering, at the optimum ambient temperatures, will produce the desired results...Therefore, since we are Born-again, we need regular Bible reading and prayer, in order to grow as Christians.There are NO short-cuts to the development of a mature disciple.! Only dilligence and perseverance will give ultimate witness to those who have paid the price...by turning their backs on the 'world' the 'flesh' and the devil ...and following JESUS wholeheartedly !
