"...Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him..."( Job 13:15 nkjv)
What was Job's secret? How did he keep going, when all seemed to have been destroyed in his life? Job had the wisdom and humility to realise that ...'The Lord gives and The Lord takes away..."Blessed be The Name of The Lord". In this modern day of terror and uncertainty, we also need this unshakeable conviction that... whatever befalls us, The Lord can and will redeem the situation... and Bless us in the process ! as well as in the outcome.(Genesis 50:19). You see, God always Has the last Word. Trust Him and Obey Him...then watch what He will do for you ! Job ended up with twice as much as he had before and was approved for standing his ground despite terrible, catastrophic, circumstances. Many of our 'woes' are 'storms in a teacup' compared to the ordeal that Job survived ! Let us ponder afresh on this and resolve to be of a similar disposition !
